Your stay in the beautifully renovated, 17th century Tuscan Villa
Chieteno offers scheduled daily activities or you may choose to explore the heart of
Italy at your own pace. Each day’s itinerary is optional for our guests
and carries a separate fee.
The Villa is located in the village of Cetona,
approximately 18 km. from the town of Chiusi, (main rail station and autostrada)
in a secluded country setting. The villa offers one and two-bedroom apartments;
each w/private bath, kitchen, living room, and pool. Live-in concierges will
make all arrangements for excursions and are available to accompany your groups,
if you wish.
You
may reach the area by flying into Rome, Venice or Milan airports and traveling
by rail to Chiusi. Arrangements can be made to be picked up at the train station
in Chiusi if you will not be hiring a rental car. Due to the secluded location
of the villa, a private car is necessary for any outings other than arranged
tours.

Vineyard Tour: Travel to a local vineyard to tour the facility and sample an array of wines and appetizers. Wonderful opportunity to purchase wines for shipping back to the United States. 35EU
Day Spa: Spend a whole day luxuriating at one of Tuscany’s most famous spas. Receive hot spring baths, relaxing massages, facials and a variety of personal treatments. 120EU
Day Trip to Sienna: Travel by train to Sienna to see a lovely example of Tuscan medieval cities. Emmerse yourself in history as you visit the sights associated with The Palio horse races, stroll through cobbled streets lined with artisan’s shops and lunch in one of Sienna’s many fine restaurants. Cooking Class: Acquaint yourself with the splendors of the Tuscan cuisine in an afternoon cooking class. End your experience with a feast of culinary treats accompanied by fine regional wines. 50EU
Art Class: Bring out your inner artist as you spend an afternoon recreating the beautiful Tuscan countryside in pastels. Artist Barbara Kent will guide you toward creating a personal masterpiece to bring home. 50EU
Hike the Tuscan Hills: Take an “off the beaten path” adventure as you hike through the rolling hillsides that have made this region famous. See a natural springs, walk though shady woods and rocky paths to reach a small restaurant nestled in the hills. Here you will end your hike with a sumptuous eight course meal before traveling back to the villa. 100EU
Tuscany Sampler Tour: Travel by mini van through some of Tuscany’s most beautiful cities, including Montepulciano, Monticchiello and Pienza. View stunning scenery as you pass by vineyards and rolling hillsides covered in sunflowers. Stroll through quaint marketplaces and dine alfresco, overlooking the valleys. 85EU
Day Trip to Florence: Florences can be reached in just 1 ½ hours by train. Start your day by sipping cappucinos in the Piazza near Giotto’s Bell Tower. Stroll over the famed Ponte Vecchio and marvel at the gold market stalls. Picnic in the Boboli Gardens or tour the Pitti Palace. End your day at the Straw Market where you can find treasures for everyone. Price TBD
Overnight Trip to Rome: Rome’s attactions, only 1 ½ hours away by train, invite you to step into the very heart on the ancient Roman Empire. Visit St. Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican Musuems or the Colliseum. Stroll down the Via Venuto or toss coins in the Trevi Fountain. Let us arrange a perfect mini-vacation in Rome. Price TBD
Car rental: Let Three Graces Tours make arrangements for your rental car. It can be waiting for you at your arrival airport or at the Chiusi train station. Price TBD
